Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Frencharab Fantasia by Victor Huguet was sold in the The Orientalist Sale auction at Sothebys in London in April 2018. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 80,000.00 – 120,000.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 81,250.00 (€ 92,535.10) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Other works by Victor Huguet have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in December 2008 the work Halte De Bicharis Dans Le Desert De Lybie was auctioned for EUR 159,156.00.

Die Arbeit Frencharab Fantasia von Victor Huguet wurde im April 2018 in der Auktion The Orientalist Sale bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 80.000,00 – 120.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 81.250,00 (€ 92.535,10) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen.
