Auction result well in line with expectations
The work French caravane Dans Le Desert by Victor Huguet was sold in the 19th Century European Paintings auction at Sothebys in London in December 2017. The price achieved of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 14,066.92) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Victor Huguet achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Halte De Bicharis Dans Le Desert De Lybie in December 2008 with an auction result of EUR 159,156.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit French caravane Dans Le Desert von Victor Huguet wurde im Dezember 2017 in der Auktion 19th Century European Paintings bei Sothebys in London versteigert. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 14.066,92) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Victor Huguet erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Halte De Bicharis Dans Le Desert De Lybie im Dezember 2008 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 159.156,00.
