The work Partition d'une surface orange par 3 lignes rouges d'épaisseur inégale (motus) by Vera Molnar was sold in the Kunst nach 1945 II auction at Ketterer in Munich in June 2017. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 12,500.00 25% above the estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vera Molnar achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work 2% of disorder in co-operation #01 in April last year with an auction result of USD 138,600.00 (€ 131,536.49).
Schätzpreis um 25 % übertroffen
Die Arbeit Partition d'une surface orange par 3 lignes rouges d'épaisseur inégale (motus) von Vera Molnar wurde im Juni 2017 in der Auktion Kunst nach 1945 II bei Ketterer in München versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 12.500,00 und damit 25% über dem Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vera Molnar erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit 2% of disorder in co-operation #01 im April letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 138.600,00 (€ 131.536,49).
