Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Vaughn Spann; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Big Black Rainbow (Deep Dive) sold at auction in December 2020 with the realized price of USD 239,400.00 (€ 195,748.16).
