The work Harvest Moon (Marked Man) by Vaughn Spann was auctioned at Phillips in New York in November last year. It achieved a price of USD 201,600.00 (€ 195,292.07), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 68%. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Vaughn Spann; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Big Black Rainbow (Deep Dive) sold at auction in December 2020 with the realized price of USD 239,400.00 (€ 195,748.16).

Die Arbeit Harvest Moon (Marked Man) von Vaughn Spann kam im November letzten Jahres bei Phillips in New York zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von USD 201.600,00 (€ 195.292,07) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 68%. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Vaughn Spann; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Big Black Rainbow (Deep Dive) im Dezember 2020 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 239.400,00 (€ 195.748,16).
