In December 2016 Christies in Mumbai held the auction The India Sale - South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art, which included this untitled work by Vasudeo S. Gaitonde. The »bidding war« ended at INR 156,325,000.00 (€ 2,177,764.88), 30% above the upper estimate. Other works by Vasudeo S. Gaitonde have achieved even higher prices, we observed the highest auction result so far of USD 4,092,500.00 (€ 3,464,403.62) in September 2017 for the work without title.

Im Dezember 2016 führte Christies in Mumbai die Auktion The India Sale - South Asian Modern + Contemporary Art durch, in der auch diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Vasudeo S. Gaitonde zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von INR 156.325.000,00 (€ 2.177.764,88) und damit 30% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Andere Arbeiten von Vasudeo S. Gaitonde haben noch höhere Preise erzielt - wir haben das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis von USD 4.092.500,00 (€ 3.464.403,62) im September 2017 für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet.
