Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Model From Vanishing Point by Valeska Soares was sold in the TABLEAUX D'AMERIQUE LATINE auction at Christies in Paris in June 2004. It achieved a price of EUR 6,572.50 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 20 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Valeska Soares - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Untitled (Model After Vanishing Point), which sold at auction in September 2018 for USD 23,750.00 (€ 20,435.38).

Für andere Arbeiten von Valeska Soares mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Untitled (Model After Vanishing Point) beobachtet, die im September 2018 für USD 23.750,00 (€ 20.435,38) versteigert wurde.
