Auction result misses estimated price range
In February this year a collector was able to acquire the work Docteur Sigmund Freud - circa 1990 by Valerio Adami for EUR 66.00. This price was achieved in the auction Prints & Multiples Online at Artcurial and was even below the estimate range of EUR 100.00 – 150.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Valerio Adami achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Privacy, Gli Omosessuali (Triptych) in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 187,500.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Februar diesen Jahres konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Docteur Sigmund Freud - circa 1990 von Valerio Adami für EUR 66,00 erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion Prints & Multiples Online bei Artcurial erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 100,00 – 150,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Valerio Adami erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Privacy, Gli Omosessuali (Triptych) im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 187.500,00.
