Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
In November this year Il Ponte held the auction Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work A midsummer night's by Valerio Adami. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 22,000.00 22% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Valerio Adami have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Privacy, Gli Omosessuali (Triptych) in June 2020 with an auction result of EUR 187,500.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Im November diesen Jahres führte Il Ponte die Auktion Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit A midsummer night's von Valerio Adami zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 22.000,00 und damit 22% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Valerio Adami auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Privacy, Gli Omosessuali (Triptych) im Juni 2020 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 187.500,00.
