In the 20th Century Masters | A Private CollectionFontana to Baselitz auction, the work Prolegomeni a un ciclo mestruale sold for GBP 43,520.00 (€ 50,649.79) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 20,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Valerio Adami - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Privacy, Gli Omosessuali (Triptych), which sold at auction in June 2020 for EUR 187,500.00.
