In April 2012 Christies in Paris held the auction Collection Victor Hugo, which included the work Tamara Karsavina dans "Le Coq d'Or" by Valentine Hugo. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 687.50 38% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Valentine Hugo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait d'Arthur Rimbaud in March last year with an auction result of GBP 1,042,750.00 (€ 1,236,297.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 38 % übertroffen
Im April 2012 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion Collection Victor Hugo durch, in der auch die Arbeit Tamara Karsavina dans "Le Coq d'Or" von Valentine Hugo zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 687,50 und damit 38% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Valentine Hugo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait d'Arthur Rimbaud im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.042.750,00 (€ 1.236.297,48).
