This artwork by Valentine Hugo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in April 2012. In the Collection Victor Hugo auction, the work Sept portraits de Paul Eluard sold for EUR 3,000.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Valentine Hugo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Portrait d'Arthur Rimbaud in March last year with an auction result of GBP 1,042,750.00 (€ 1,236,297.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 100 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Valentine Hugo erzielte im April 2012 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Collection Victor Hugo wurde die Arbeit Sept portraits de Paul Eluard für EUR 3.000,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Valentine Hugo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Portrait d'Arthur Rimbaud im März letzten Jahres mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 1.042.750,00 (€ 1.236.297,48).
