Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Vaclav Vytlacil could be acquired at Sothebys in New York in September 2008 for an unexpectedly low price. In the American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture auction, the work Hoffman Abstraction changed hands for USD 4,375.00 (€ 3,107.02) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of USD 5,000.00 – 7,000.00. Admittedly, works by Vaclav Vytlacil have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life with Fish in September 2007 with an auction result of USD 27,400.00 (€ 19,269.99).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Vaclav Vytlacil konnte im September 2008 bei Sothebys in New York für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion American Paintings, Drawings and Sculpture wechselte die Arbeit Hoffman Abstraction für USD 4.375,00 (€ 3.107,02) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von USD 5.000,00 – 7.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vaclav Vytlacil auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life with Fish im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.400,00 (€ 19.269,99).
