Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%

This artwork by Vaclav Vytlacil achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in New York in July 2007. In the House Sale auction, the work Autumn Trees sold for USD 1,680.00 (€ 1,225.29) - well above the upper estimate of USD 700.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Vaclav Vytlacil achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Still Life with Fish in September 2007 with an auction result of USD 27,400.00 (€ 19,269.99).

Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen

Dieses Kunstwerk von Vaclav Vytlacil erzielte im Juli 2007 bei Christies in New York einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion House Sale wurde die Arbeit Autumn Trees für USD 1.680,00 (€ 1.225,29) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 700,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Vaclav Vytlacil erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Still Life with Fish im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.400,00 (€ 19.269,99).
