In September 2004 Christies in New York held the auction THE HOUSE SALE, which included the work Cubist Composition by Vaclav Vytlacil. The »bidding war« ended at USD 4,780.00 (€ 3,849.56), 59% above the upper estimate. Admittedly, works by Vaclav Vytlacil have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Still Life with Fish in September 2007 with an auction result of USD 27,400.00 (€ 19,269.99).

Oberer Schätzpreis um 59 % übertroffen

Im September 2004 führte Christies in New York die Auktion THE HOUSE SALE durch, in der auch die Arbeit Cubist Composition von Vaclav Vytlacil zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von USD 4.780,00 (€ 3.849,56) und damit 59% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Vaclav Vytlacil auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Still Life with Fish im September 2007 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 27.400,00 (€ 19.269,99).
