Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2002 Christies in London held the auction IMPRESSIONIST, MODERN AND POST WAR ART, which included the work A sunlit river landscape by Václav Radimsky. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of GBP 1,500.00 – 2,500.00, the actual price achieved of GBP 1,527.50 (€ 2,344.79) could thus just exceed the lower estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Václav Radimsky achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Sommerliche Landschaft (Seine-Tal bei Giverny?). in November 2018 with an auction result of EUR 59,340.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2002 führte Christies in London die Auktion IMPRESSIONIST, MODERN AND POST WAR ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit A sunlit river landscape von Václav Radimsky zur Versteigerung kam. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 1.500,00 – 2.500,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von GBP 1.527,50 (€ 2.344,79) konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Václav Radimsky erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Sommerliche Landschaft (Seine-Tal bei Giverny?). im November 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 59.340,00.
