Auction result misses estimated price range
When this work without title by Uwe Henneken was auctioned at Sothebys in London in October 2014, the result was somewhat disappointing. The auction house had previously given the estimated price as a range of GBP 3,000.00 – 5,000.00, of which not even the lower limit was reached - in fact, the artwork changed hands for GBP 500.00 (€ 638.43). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Uwe Henneken achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work "Sein - Fleisch - fühlt - sich - wie - Eisen - an - Vanguard" in May 2019 with an auction result of EUR 19,350.00.
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Als diese Arbeit ohne Titel von Uwe Henneken im Oktober 2014 bei Sothebys in London versteigert wurde, fiel das Ergebnis ein wenig enttäuschend aus. Das Auktionshaus hatte den Schätzpreis zuvor mit einer Spanne von GBP 3.000,00 – 5.000,00 angegeben, von der nicht einmal die Untergrenze erreicht wurde - tatsächlich wechselte das Kunstwerk für GBP 500,00 (€ 638,43) den Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Uwe Henneken erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit "Sein - Fleisch - fühlt - sich - wie - Eisen - an - Vanguard" im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 19.350,00.
