This artwork by Urs Lüthi achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in June 2017. In the Art Contemporain Vente du jour auction, the work Tableaux récents K sold for EUR 8,125.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 4,000.00. Admittedly, works by Urs Lüthi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Selfportrait, One Is A Lonely Number in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 48,529.62).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Urs Lüthi erzielte im Juni 2017 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Art Contemporain Vente du jour wurde die Arbeit Tableaux récents K für EUR 8.125,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 4.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Urs Lüthi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Selfportrait, One Is A Lonely Number im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 48.529,62).
