Auction result well in line with expectations
The work (i) Selbstportrait from the INDIZ-Series I (ii) Selbstportrait from the INDIZ-Series III by Urs Lüthi was auctioned at Christies in London in September 2016. The price achieved of GBP 4,750.00 (€ 5,501.09) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Urs Lüthi have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Selfportrait, One Is A Lonely Number in February 2014 with an auction result of GBP 40,000.00 (€ 48,529.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit (i) Selbstportrait from the INDIZ-Series I (ii) Selbstportrait from the INDIZ-Series III von Urs Lüthi kam im September 2016 bei Christies in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 4.750,00 (€ 5.501,09) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Urs Lüthi auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Selfportrait, One Is A Lonely Number im Februar 2014 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 40.000,00 (€ 48.529,62).
