Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Julian by Urs Fischer was auctioned at Christies in New York in May 2017. It changed hands for a price of USD 3,367,500.00 (€ 2,997,063.01) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of USD 2,800,000.00 – 3,500,000.00. Other works by Urs Fischer have already achieved higher auction prices, for example, in May 2011 the work Untitled (Lamp/Bear) was auctioned for USD 6,802,500.00 (€ 4,731,844.74).
