This artwork by Umbo achieved an unexpectedly high price at Grisebach in November 2017. In the Herbstauktionen 2017 - Photographie auction, the work Pantoffeln. sold for EUR 2,875.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Umbo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Das neueste Angebot en profil in October 2000 with an auction result of USD 32,900.00 (€ 38,769.74).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 92 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Umbo erzielte im November 2017 bei Grisebach einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Herbstauktionen 2017 - Photographie wurde die Arbeit Pantoffeln. für EUR 2.875,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Umbo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Das neueste Angebot en profil im Oktober 2000 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 32.900,00 (€ 38.769,74).
