This artwork by Ulpiano Checa achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Paris in March 2015. In the Tableaux 1400-1900 auction, the work Le Temps sold for EUR 86,700.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 35,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Ulpiano Checa; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Carnival Eve sold at auction in October 2006 with the realized price of USD 156,000.00 (€ 122,132.62).

Dieses Kunstwerk von Ulpiano Checa erzielte im März 2015 bei Christies in Paris einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Tableaux 1400-1900 wurde die Arbeit Le Temps für EUR 86.700,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 35.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Ulpiano Checa; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Carnival Eve im Oktober 2006 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 156.000,00 (€ 122.132,62).
