Auction result well in line with expectations
The work La fantasia by Ulpiano Checa was auctioned at Bonhams in London in October this year. It changed hands for a price of GBP 19,200.00 (€ 22,046.93) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 15,000.00 – 20,000.00. Admittedly, works by Ulpiano Checa have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Carnival Eve in October 2006 with an auction result of USD 156,000.00 (€ 122,132.62).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit La fantasia von Ulpiano Checa kam im Oktober diesen Jahres bei Bonhams in London zur Auktion. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von GBP 19.200,00 (€ 22.046,93) den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 15.000,00 – 20.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Ulpiano Checa auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Carnival Eve im Oktober 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 156.000,00 (€ 122.132,62).
