Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Ula Paine could be acquired at Christies in London in December 2001 for an unexpectedly low price. In the 20TH CENTURY BRITISH ART auction, the work Still Life with Aubergines, Peppers and Gourds changed hands for GBP 458.25 (€ 748.72) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 600.00 – 800.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ula Paine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers By The River in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 8,400.00 (€ 12,474.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Ula Paine konnte im Dezember 2001 bei Christies in London für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion 20TH CENTURY BRITISH ART wechselte die Arbeit Still Life with Aubergines, Peppers and Gourds für GBP 458,25 (€ 748,72) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 600,00 – 800,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ula Paine erzielen.
