Auction result well in line with expectations
In December 2001 Christies in London held the auction 20TH CENTURY BRITISH ART, which included the work Eucalyptus with Fruit by Ula Paine. The price achieved of GBP 528.75 (€ 863.90) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 400.00 – 600.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ula Paine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers By The River in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 8,400.00 (€ 12,474.26).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Dezember 2001 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20TH CENTURY BRITISH ART durch, in der auch die Arbeit Eucalyptus with Fruit von Ula Paine zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 528,75 (€ 863,90) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 400,00 – 600,00 angegeben worden. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ula Paine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers By The River im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.400,00 (€ 12.474,26).
