Auction result misses estimated price range
In December 2001 a collector was able to acquire the work Basket with Fruit by Ula Paine for GBP 282.00 (€ 460.75). This price was achieved in the auction 20TH CENTURY BRITISH ART at Christies in London and was even below the estimate range of GBP 300.00 – 500.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ula Paine achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Flowers By The River in November 2006 with an auction result of GBP 8,400.00 (€ 12,474.26).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im Dezember 2001 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit Basket with Fruit von Ula Paine für GBP 282,00 (€ 460,75) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion 20TH CENTURY BRITISH ART bei Christies in London erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 300,00 – 500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Ula Paine erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Flowers By The River im November 2006 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 8.400,00 (€ 12.474,26).
