Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Ugo Rondinone achieved an unexpectedly high price at Phillips in New York in March this year. In the New Now auction, the work woman at a window 1822 sold for USD 60,960.00 (€ 56,070.64) - well above the upper estimate of USD 30,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Ugo Rondinone achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work A Day Like This.Made Of Nothing And Nothing Else in November 2018 with an auction result of USD 1,131,000.00 (€ 998,851.89).
