Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Marcel Duchamp, New York by Ugo Mulas was auctioned at Christies in Milan in December last year. The estimated price for the artwork was previously given by the auction house with a range of EUR 6,000.00 – 8,000.00, the actual price achieved of EUR 6,300.00 could thus just exceed the lower estimate. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Ugo Mulas - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work L'attesa, which sold at auction in November 2008 for EUR 16,900.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Marcel Duchamp, New York von Ugo Mulas kam im Dezember letzten Jahres bei Christies in Mailand zur Auktion. Der Schätzpreis für das Kunstwerk wurde von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit einer Spanne von EUR 6.000,00 – 8.000,00 angegeben, der tatsächlich erzielte Preis von EUR 6.300,00 konnte den unteren Schätzpreis somit knapp übertreffen. Für andere Arbeiten von Ugo Mulas mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit L'attesa beobachtet, die im November 2008 für EUR 16.900,00 versteigert wurde.
