The work Flower Market by U Lun Gywe was auctioned at Sothebys in Hong Kong in October 2018. It achieved a price of HKD 106,250.00 (€ 11,963.91), exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 56%. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by U Lun Gywe - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Spectrum of Burmese Colour, which sold at auction in November 2019 for HKD 325,000.00 (€ 37,693.98).

Die Arbeit Flower Market von U Lun Gywe kam im Oktober 2018 bei Sothebys in Hong Kong zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von HKD 106.250,00 (€ 11.963,91) und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 56%. Für andere Arbeiten von U Lun Gywe mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Spectrum of Burmese Colour beobachtet, die im November 2019 für HKD 325.000,00 (€ 37.693,98) versteigert wurde.
