Auction result well in line with expectations
In April last year Christies in Hong Kong held the auction No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Originals, which included the work Flowers boats by U Lun Gywe. The price achieved of HKD 47,880.00 (€ 5,789.04) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 40,000.00 – 60,000.00. Admittedly, works by U Lun Gywe have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Spectrum of Burmese Colour in November 2019 with an auction result of HKD 325,000.00 (€ 37,693.98).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im April letzten Jahres führte Christies in Hong Kong die Auktion No Regrets: 20/21 Art Online: All Originals durch, in der auch die Arbeit Flowers boats von U Lun Gywe zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 47.880,00 (€ 5.789,04) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 40.000,00 – 60.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von U Lun Gywe auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Spectrum of Burmese Colour im November 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 325.000,00 (€ 37.693,98).
