Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2016 Sothebys in London held the auction Photographs, which included the work 'Three Witches', 2014 by Tyler Shields. The price achieved of GBP 9,375.00 (€ 12,233.39) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tyler Shields - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mouthful, 2017, which sold at auction in February 2019 for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,705.20).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2016 führte Sothebys in London die Auktion Photographs durch, in der auch die Arbeit 'Three Witches', 2014 von Tyler Shields zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 9.375,00 (€ 12.233,39) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Tyler Shields mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Mouthful, 2017 beobachtet, die im Februar 2019 für GBP 23.750,00 (€ 27.705,20) versteigert wurde.
