Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Glitter Mouth, 2012 by Tyler Shields was sold in the Photographs auction at Christies in London in May 2017. It changed hands for a price of GBP 11,250.00 (€ 12,921.08) achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tyler Shields - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Mouthful, 2017, which sold at auction in February 2019 for GBP 23,750.00 (€ 27,705.20).
