In January 2024 Phillips in London held the auction Evening & Day Editions, which included the work Pattern Makers by Tunji Adeniyi-Jones. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 1,270.00 (€ 2,125.55), 41% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tunji Adeniyi-Jones achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Pattern Makers in October 2021 with an auction result of GBP 302,400.00 (€ 358,262.33).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 41 % übertroffen
Im Januar 2024 führte Phillips in London die Auktion Evening & Day Editions durch, in der auch die Arbeit Pattern Makers von Tunji Adeniyi-Jones zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 1.270,00 (€ 2.125,55) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tunji Adeniyi-Jones erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Pattern Makers im Oktober 2021 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 302.400,00 (€ 358.262,33).
