Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2016 POLY in Hong Kong held the auction Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art, which included the work Fish Village; & Riverside by Tu Ke. The price achieved of HKD 76,700.00 (€ 9,026.00) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as HKD 65,000.00 – 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tu Ke have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Landscape by the River in May 2012 with an auction result of HKD 860,000.00 (€ 89,589.13).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2016 führte POLY in Hong Kong die Auktion Chinese and Asian Modern and Contemporary Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Fish Village; & Riverside von Tu Ke zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von HKD 76.700,00 (€ 9.026,00) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit HKD 65.000,00 – 100.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tu Ke auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Landscape by the River im Mai 2012 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 860.000,00 (€ 89.589,13).
