This artwork by Tseng Yuho achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in April 2014. In the Asia+: 20th Century and Contemporary Art auction, the work Unknown sold for HKD 175,000.00 (€ 16,276.14) - well above the upper estimate of HKD 100,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tseng Yuho have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work The Fishpond, Hawaii-Kai (Diptych) in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 725,000.00 (€ 85,317.46).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 75 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tseng Yuho erzielte im April 2014 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Asia+: 20th Century and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit Unknown für HKD 175.000,00 (€ 16.276,14) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von HKD 100.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tseng Yuho auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit The Fishpond, Hawaii-Kai (Diptych) im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 725.000,00 (€ 85.317,46).
