Auction result misses estimated price range
In March 2006 a collector was able to acquire the work The Lights by Tseng Yuho for USD 480.00 (€ 395.42). This price was achieved in the auction The House Sale at Christies in New York and was even below the estimate range of USD 800.00 – 1,200.00 set by the auction house. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tseng Yuho achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work The Fishpond, Hawaii-Kai (Diptych) in October 2016 with an auction result of HKD 725,000.00 (€ 85,317.46).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Im März 2006 konnte ein Sammler die Arbeit The Lights von Tseng Yuho für USD 480,00 (€ 395,42) erwerben. Dieser Preis wurde in der Auktion The House Sale bei Christies in New York erzielt und lag noch unterhalb der von dem Auktionshaus angesetzten Schätzpreisspanne von USD 800,00 – 1.200,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tseng Yuho erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit The Fishpond, Hawaii-Kai (Diptych) im Oktober 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von HKD 725.000,00 (€ 85.317,46).
