In April 2005 Christies in Paris held the auction INTERIEURS, which included the work Chien Assoupi by Toshio Bando. The »bidding war« ended at EUR 6,000.00 71% above the upper estimate. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Toshio Bando; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Autoportrait à la cigarette sold at auction in June last year with the realized price of EUR 11,340.00.

Im April 2005 führte Christies in Paris die Auktion INTERIEURS durch, in der auch die Arbeit Chien Assoupi von Toshio Bando zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von EUR 6.000,00 und damit 71% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Toshio Bando; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Autoportrait à la cigarette im Juni letzten Jahres mit dem Hammerpreis von EUR 11.340,00.
