This artwork by Onosato Toshinobu achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Hong Kong in December 2014. In the Interiors auction, the work without title sold for USD 10,625.00 (€ 8,780.27) - well above the upper estimate of USD 6,000.00. Admittedly, works by Onosato Toshinobu have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work B-4 in September 2016 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 77,860.83).
Oberer Schätzpreis um 77 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Onosato Toshinobu erzielte im Dezember 2014 bei Christies in Hong Kong einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Interiors wurde diese Arbeit ohne Titel für USD 10.625,00 (€ 8.780,27) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von USD 6.000,00. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Onosato Toshinobu auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit B-4 im September 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 77.860,83).
