In December 2011 Christies in London held the auction 20th Century British Art, which included the work Still life with vase and lemon by Tony O'Malley. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 11,250.00 (€ 13,473.46), 41% above the upper estimate. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tony O'Malley achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Currach, Clare Island (Recto); Evening Landscape Tehidy Hospital (Recto); Figure (Verso) in March 2016 with an auction result of GBP 434,500.00 (€ 548,599.17).

Im Dezember 2011 führte Christies in London die Auktion 20th Century British Art durch, in der auch die Arbeit Still life with vase and lemon von Tony O'Malley zur Versteigerung kam. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 11.250,00 (€ 13.473,46) und damit 41% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tony O'Malley erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Currach, Clare Island (Recto); Evening Landscape Tehidy Hospital (Recto); Figure (Verso) im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 434.500,00 (€ 548.599,17).
