Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Head Horizon (Pc967), 1996 by Tony Bevan was auctioned at Sothebys in New York in September 2018. The price achieved of USD 13,750.00 (€ 11,831.01) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as USD 12,000.00 – 18,000.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tony Bevan achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Corridor in October 2017 with an auction result of GBP 112,500.00 (€ 128,272.02).
