Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tony Bevan achieved an unexpectedly high price at Sothebys in London in September 2021. In the This is Tomorrow: Works from the David Ross Collection auction, the work Red Interior sold for GBP 88,200.00 (€ 102,621.92) - well above the upper estimate of GBP 35,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Tony Bevan; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Corridor sold at auction in October 2017 with the realized price of GBP 112,500.00 (€ 128,272.02).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tony Bevan erzielte im September 2021 bei Sothebys in London einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion This is Tomorrow: Works from the David Ross Collection wurde die Arbeit Red Interior für GBP 88.200,00 (€ 102.621,92) versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von GBP 35.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Tony Bevan; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Corridor im Oktober 2017 mit dem Hammerpreis von GBP 112.500,00 (€ 128.272,02).
