Auction result misses estimated price range
This work of art by Gokita Tomoo could be acquired at Phillips in an online auction in February 2021 for an unexpectedly low price. In the Wired: Online Auction auction, the work Precious Paul changed hands for GBP 1,890.00 (€ 2,179.76) - missing the lower end of the estimate range of GBP 2,500.00 – 3,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Gokita Tomoo achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Be Just Like Family in May 2019 with an auction result of USD 1,076,000.00 (€ 965,108.98).
Auktionsergebnis verfehlt die Schätzpreisspanne
Dieses Kunstwerk von Gokita Tomoo konnte im Februar 2021 bei Phillips in einer Online-Auktion für einen unerwartet niedrigen Preis ersteigert werden. In der Auktion Wired: Online Auction wechselte die Arbeit Precious Paul für GBP 1.890,00 (€ 2.179,76) den Besitzer – und verfehlte damit das untere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne von GBP 2.500,00 – 3.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Gokita Tomoo erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Be Just Like Family im Mai 2019 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 1.076.000,00 (€ 965.108,98).
