This artwork by Tomasz Ciecierski achieved an unexpectedly high price at Christies in Amsterdam in April 2014. In the Post-War and Contemporary Art auction, the work More Than Nothing sold for EUR 9,375.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 5,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tomasz Ciecierski - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2011 for EUR 29,550.00.
Oberer Schätzpreis um 88 % übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tomasz Ciecierski erzielte im April 2014 bei Christies in Amsterdam einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Post-War and Contemporary Art wurde die Arbeit More Than Nothing für EUR 9.375,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 5.000,00. Für andere Arbeiten von Tomasz Ciecierski mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2011 für EUR 29.550,00 versteigert wurde.
