Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Polish Landscape by Tomasz Ciecierski was auctioned at Sothebys in London in November 2014. The price achieved of GBP 10,000.00 (€ 12,572.76) was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as GBP 8,000.00 – 12,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tomasz Ciecierski - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work without title, which sold at auction in April 2011 for EUR 29,550.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Die Arbeit Polish Landscape von Tomasz Ciecierski kam im November 2014 bei Sothebys in London zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von GBP 10.000,00 (€ 12.572,76) lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit GBP 8.000,00 – 12.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Tomasz Ciecierski mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit ohne Titel beobachtet, die im April 2011 für EUR 29.550,00 versteigert wurde.
