A top price for Tom Merrifield
The work Dancing Nude by Tom Merrifield was sold in the TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART auction at Christies in London in March 2003. The »bidding war« ended at GBP 2,585.00 (€ 3,744.69), 29% above the upper estimate. With this result, Dancing Nude is even the most expensive work of art by Tom Merrifield that we have observed at auctions so far.

Die Arbeit Dancing Nude von Tom Merrifield wurde im März 2003 in der Auktion TWENTIETH CENTURY BRITISH ART bei Christies in London versteigert. Das »Bietergefecht« endete beim Preis von GBP 2.585,00 (€ 3.744,69) und damit 29% über dem oberen Schätzpreis. Mit diesem Ergebnis ist Dancing Nude sogar das teuerste Kunstwerk von Tom Merrifield, das wir bisher bei Auktionen beobachtet haben.
