Upper estimated price slightly exceeded
The work Traveller Series I (Girl in the Bus), 1996 by Tom Hunter was sold in the Edition Gerd Hatje: Contemporary Photographs, Prints & Multiples auction at Christies in London in July 2018. Here, the upper estimate of GBP 700.00 was slightly exceeded - the artwork found a new owner for GBP 750.00 (€ 840.91). Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Tom Hunter achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Woman Reading A Possession Order in March 2016 with an auction result of GBP 12,500.00 (€ 15,782.48).
Oberer Schätzpreis leicht übertroffen
Die Arbeit Traveller Series I (Girl in the Bus), 1996 von Tom Hunter wurde im Juli 2018 in der Auktion Edition Gerd Hatje: Contemporary Photographs, Prints & Multiples bei Christies in London versteigert. Dabei wurde der obere Schätzpreis von GBP 700,00 leicht übertroffen – das Kunstwerk fand für GBP 750,00 (€ 840,91) einen neuen Besitzer. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Tom Hunter erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Woman Reading A Possession Order im März 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von GBP 12.500,00 (€ 15.782,48).
