Auction result well in line with expectations
In October 2019 Artcurial in Paris held the auction Outsider(s), which included the work War Party - 2008 by Todd James. It changed hands for a price of EUR 1,430.00 achieving a result in the upper range of the estimate price range of EUR 1,000.00 – 1,500.00. Of course, this price has nothing to do with the top prices that other works by Todd James achieve. The highest price we have observed so far was reached by the work Dumparoo - 2010 in May 2018 with an auction result of EUR 29,900.00.
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Oktober 2019 führte Artcurial in Paris die Auktion Outsider(s) durch, in der auch die Arbeit War Party - 2008 von Todd James zur Versteigerung kam. Dabei wechselte sie für einen Preis von EUR 1.430,00 den Besitzer und erzielte damit ein Ergebnis im oberen Bereich der Schätzpreisspanne von EUR 1.000,00 – 1.500,00. Dieser Preis hat freilich nichts mit den Spitzenpreisen zu tun, die andere Arbeiten von Todd James erzielen. Den höchsten von uns bisher beobachteten Preis erreichte die Arbeit Dumparoo - 2010 im Mai 2018 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von EUR 29.900,00.
