Auction result well in line with expectations
In May 2002 Christies in Amsterdam held the auction OLD MASTER PICTURES, which included the work An Alpine river landscape with a clifftop castle and a village, two pilgrims in the foreground by Tobias Verhaecht. The price achieved of EUR 11,950.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 10,000.00 – 15,000.00. Admittedly, works by Tobias Verhaecht have also been auctioned for a multiple of this price - according to our records, the highest result so far was achieved by the work Mountainous River Landscape With Travelers in January 2016 with an auction result of USD 87,500.00 (€ 80,779.17).
Auktionsergebnis im Rahmen der Erwartungen
Im Mai 2002 führte Christies in Amsterdam die Auktion OLD MASTER PICTURES durch, in der auch die Arbeit An Alpine river landscape with a clifftop castle and a village, two pilgrims in the foreground von Tobias Verhaecht zur Versteigerung kam. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 11.950,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 10.000,00 – 15.000,00 angegeben worden. Freilich wurden Arbeiten von Tobias Verhaecht auch schon für ein Vielfaches dieses Preises versteigert – das bisher höchste Ergebnis erzielte nach unseren Aufzeichnungen die Arbeit Mountainous River Landscape With Travelers im Januar 2016 mit einem Auktionsergebnis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 80.779,17).
