Upper estimate price exceeded by more than 100%
This artwork by Tobias Verhaecht achieved an unexpectedly high price at Artcurial in March this year. In the Old Master & 19th Century Art auction, the work Paysages montagneux animés de personnages sold for EUR 44,608.00 - well above the upper estimate of EUR 20,000.00. Despite this good result, it is not the highest hammer price for an artwork by Tobias Verhaecht; that achieved among the auctions we observed the lot Mountainous River Landscape With Travelers sold at auction in January 2016 with the realized price of USD 87,500.00 (€ 80,779.17).
Oberer Schätzpreis um mehr als 100% übertroffen
Dieses Kunstwerk von Tobias Verhaecht erzielte im März diesen Jahres bei Artcurial einen unerwartet hohen Preis. In der Auktion Old Master & 19th Century Art wurde die Arbeit Paysages montagneux animés de personnages für EUR 44.608,00 versteigert – und damit weit über dem oberen Schätzpreis von EUR 20.000,00. Trotz des guten Ergebnisses ist dies nicht der höchste Zuschlag für ein Kunstwerk von Tobias Verhaecht; den erzielte unter den von uns beobachteten Auktionen die Arbeit Mountainous River Landscape With Travelers im Januar 2016 mit dem Hammerpreis von USD 87.500,00 (€ 80.779,17).
