Auction result well in line with expectations
The work Neth Standing Female With Mirror by Tjipke Visser was auctioned at Sothebys in Amsterdam in December 2007. The price achieved of EUR 4,750.00 was within expectations - the estimate range had previously been set by the auction house as EUR 4,000.00 – 6,000.00. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tjipke Visser - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Marabou, which sold at auction in November 2004 for EUR 11,950.00.

Die Arbeit Neth Standing Female With Mirror von Tjipke Visser kam im Dezember 2007 bei Sothebys in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Der dabei erzielte Preis von EUR 4.750,00 lag im Rahmen der Erwartungen – die Schätzpreisspanne war von dem Auktionshaus zuvor mit EUR 4.000,00 – 6.000,00 angegeben worden. Für andere Arbeiten von Tjipke Visser mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Marabou beobachtet, die im November 2004 für EUR 11.950,00 versteigert wurde.
