The work Baboe met kind by Tjipke Visser was auctioned at Christies in Amsterdam in November 2003. It achieved a price of EUR 4,541.00 exceeding the upper end of the estimate range by 51 %. However, buyers have had to dig much deeper into their pockets for other works by Tjipke Visser - we have observed the highest auction result to date for the work Marabou, which sold at auction in November 2004 for EUR 11,950.00.

Die Arbeit Baboe met kind von Tjipke Visser kam im November 2003 bei Christies in Amsterdam zur Auktion. Sie erzielte dabei einen Preis von EUR 4.541,00 und übertraf damit das obere Ende der Schätzpreisspanne um 51 %. Für andere Arbeiten von Tjipke Visser mussten die Käufer allerdings auch schon deutlich tiefer in die Tasche greifen – das bisher höchste Auktionsergebnis haben wir für die Arbeit Marabou beobachtet, die im November 2004 für EUR 11.950,00 versteigert wurde.
